I am a UX Researcher and Designer of 15 years who advocates for ethical design with a focus on accessibility, sustainability and better privacy and data practices.
I enjoy solving puzzles and digging out clues and insights by reading into the messages that are not said to compare with what was. I'm also someone who wants to understand how everything works from the finer details to the grander picture.
Over the past couple of years, I have been diving into python and have found a new hobby with image processing and cryptography.
In 2018, a few colleagues and I organized a meetup in the South Bay Area that quickly grew to over 4000 members. We had sponsors from Sketch, UXPin, TekSystems and Zoom. Of course, the pandemic hit soon after and things slowly dwindled to a halt. Due to our strong vetting on speakers, the meetup was strong with many people requesting it to kickstart again. Seeing the need for such a group, I have started a new meetup called Design Minds, which focuses more on an interactive approach to help attendees stretch their creative thinking.

I love a good book as much as the next, I tend to lean towards classics and non-fiction, although, I do enjoy a riveting fictional story now and then.
